Lunch, 11 to 3
Chicken teriyaki with four California rolls is $12.95. Any two rolls off the lunch list is $11.95, any three is $14.95. Salad and miso soup come with it. Monday to Saturday.
Twenty three chef’s rolls
The Zombie has soft shell crab and shrimp tempura inside it. The Amazing is white tuna tempura under tuna tartare and jalapeno. Most sit between $13.95 and $14.95.
A real gluten free menu
Twenty four dishes, including six chef’s rolls of their own, ten regular rolls, fried rice, a chirashi bowl and broiled collars. Not a list of what you can leave out.
Kodawari
Two kitchens behind one counter
One side is the sushi bar: nigiri and sashimi by the pair, boats for two, and the rolls that take the time. The other is a hot kitchen turning out ramen, yaki udon, yakisoba, fried rice, katsu and short ribs. Order off both at once, because most tables do.
If you are feeding a few people, the Oshima Boat is fifteen pieces of sushi, fifteen of sashimi and two special rolls for $79.95. The Love Boat is the smaller version at $59.95.

Noren
Come in and sit down
Oshima is on East 10th Street, a block off Phillips, with dark wood, paper lanterns and a navy curtain on the back wall. It is a dining room rather than a counter you eat standing at, and it is quiet enough at lunch to get a table without waiting.
We do not take reservations. Walk in when we are open, or order ahead and pick it up at the counter. Cards, Apple Pay and cash are all fine.
